ESP Yachting is a Solent based corporate yacht charter specialist. We specialise in
delivering top quality, cost effective days on the water for our clients from our base in the Solent.
ESP Yachting was founded in 2005 by Neil Addison, an ex-naval officer with a corporate background
who’s passion for sailing is rivalled by his passion for customer service.
We organise corporate hospitality, team building events and fun sailing for large or small groups, midweek or at weekends. Whether it’s a race ‘around the cans’ in the Solent, around the Isle of Wight, or just a leisurely Solent cruise, we can deliver a charter that matches your requirements.
With a fleet of well-equipped modern yachts, we are able to operate from various locations in the
Solent including Portsmouth, the Hamble, Cowes and Lymington.

We booked a sail across the Solent for a corporate hospitality trip for some key clients and it was a day thoroughly enjoyed by all. Helped by the late September sunshine, the crossing aboard Butterfly was extremely tranquil, enjoyable and great for us novices looking to learn the basics of sailing. With Neil and Kenny expertly manning the boat, those interested in knowing more about the local area, the boat, the geography were in good hands. Our base marina and a great launching point for the Solent. Haslar Marina has excellent facilities and car parking.
Cowes – said to be the world capital of sailing Cowes is the most popular charter destination on the Solent. There are numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from.
Part of the Beaulieu Estate , a beautiful river that winds its way up to Bucklers Hard for lunch ashore or on a buoy .
A bustling Georgian market town with 2 large marinas. We can start charters from here or call in for lunch at one of the many pubs and restaurants.
One of the prettiest spots on the Island, and just a short sail from Portsmouth. We pick up a buoy and take the water taxi ashore for lunch.
The iconic entrance to the Solent, we can anchor nearby for lunch or pop into Yarmouth.
One of the quaintest spots on the island with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. A definite option on day charters from The Hamble River or Lymington
The isle of Wight’s most popular anchorage just round the corner from Cowes, providing good shelter and a great view of Queen Victoria’s favourite residence. On a sunny summer days its great for a swim here.
A short motor up the pretty Medina River from Cowes is the Folly Inn, a well-known watering hole serving excellent pub lunches
Given the right tides and a departure from the western Solent we can anchor for a buffet lunch or head ashore to ‘The Hut’ restaurant for some of the best seaside dining on the Isle of Wight.
