Corporate yacht charter specialists based in the Solent

ESP Yachting are specialists in delivering quality corporate yachting events.

We are very proud to have acquired many loyal and valued clients from a variety of industries and professions since we started in 2005.

Whether you require one yacht or several, we take nothing for granted and tailor make our skippered corporate charters to your individual requirements.

We believe we are unique in our approach. Our expert skippers know how important it is that these events work for you and your clients from a business perspective. Therefore, our goal is not just delivering an exciting and safe day on the water but also achieving your business objectives whether they be networking or team building.

Client Entertainment

Our large luxury yachts take up to ten guests each plus crew in comfort for a fun day out of the office.

We include all safety gear and waterproofs. Having a professional skipper onboard means these days can be as relaxed or as challenging as you choose to make them.

You can take advantage of a full catering package including breakfast, buffet lunch and drinks, or just pick and choose requirements to suit your day. We can also recommend and book a restaurant ashore should you prefer it.

An example itinerary could look like the following:

09:00 Refreshments onboard or at the marina restaurant on arrival

09:30 Full safety briefing

10.00 Depart marina for morning sail to lunch destination

13.00 Lunch ashore or at anchor (Cowes, Yarmouth, Beaulieu River etc)

14.30 Afternoon sail

17.00 Arrive back at marina

Team Building

Sailing is excellent for building teamwork and is the ideal way to bond your colleagues through their shared experiences.

If you are chartering more than one yacht we can make the day extra competitive with some racing competitions, and/or focus on drills within the yacht that hone your team working skills.

We will take time to fully establish your goals for the event and deliver a bespoke day that is fun, safe and achieves your team objectives.

No previous knowledge is required for any of our days on the water. Our skippers are all RYA qualified instructors, so whether you are a keen sailor or an absolute beginner we will make sure you and your clients get the best possible experience from the your charter.

Places to go

Depending on our marina of departure there are numerous locations that can be visited in a day sail or further afield if you have more time. Our guide below can give you some ideas.

Haslar Marina

Our base marina and a great launching point for the Solent. Haslar Marina has excellent facilities and car parking.

Cowes – said to be the world capital of sailing Cowes is the most popular charter destination on the Solent. There are numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from.

Part of the Beaulieu Estate , a beautiful river that winds its way up to Bucklers Hard for lunch ashore or on a buoy .

A bustling Georgian market town with 2 large marinas. We can start charters from here or call in for lunch at one of the many pubs and restaurants.

A Nature Reserve and beautiful anchorage for lunch when the tide is right

One of the prettiest spots on the Island, and just a short sail from Portsmouth. We pick up a buoy and take the water taxi ashore for lunch.

The iconic entrance to the Solent, we can anchor nearby for lunch or pop into Yarmouth.

One of the quaintest spots on the island with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. A definite option on day charters from The Hamble River or Lymington

The isle of Wight’s most popular anchorage just round the corner from Cowes, providing good shelter and a great view of Queen Victoria’s favourite residence. On a sunny summer days its great for a swim here.

A short motor up the pretty Medina River from Cowes is the Folly Inn, a well-known watering hole serving excellent pub lunches

Given the right tides and a departure from the western Solent we can anchor for a buffet lunch or head ashore to ‘The Hut’ restaurant for some of the best seaside dining on the Isle of Wight.
